Rev. Lett.等期刊上发表SCI论文60篇。主持研究国家自然科学基金三项;主持华南理工大学中央高校基本科研业务费资助项目三项(包括面上、重点及滚动项目各一项),主持教育部留学回国科研启动基金一项;主持中国博士后科学基金一项。在《物理评论快报》(Physical Review Letters)上发表的科研论文《Supersoft Symmetry Energy Encountering Non-Newtonian Gravity in Neutron Stars》[[Phys. Rev.Lett., 103, 211102(2009)]是华南理工大学首次以第一作者、第一署名单位发表在该国际物理顶级刊物上的论文。该论文获得了广东省第二届南粤科技创新优秀学术论文二等奖。     长期担任《大学物理》课程,也承担了相关的教学研究课题,参与编写了由邓文基教授主编、高等教育出版社出版社出版的教材《大学物理》。指导多名学生参加SRP研究项目,其中一名学生发表了SCI论文,也因此获得了2011年度学生科技创新优秀指导教师一等奖。坚持每年指导本科生的毕业设计(论文),获得了华南理工大学本科毕业设计(论文)优秀指导教师奖。另外还多次获得华南理工大学教学优秀奖和教学成果奖。还开设了全校通识课《天体与宇宙》,新生研讨课《宇宙的演化》,研究生课程《天体物理导论》等课程。 社会、学会及学术兼职 广东省物理学会监事。 发表论文 1.
