She received a BSc degree, a BA degree and an MSc degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2003 and 2006, respectively, then moved to the University of Liverpool in pursuit of a PhD degree. After graduation in 2009, she worked as a research associate at the University of Liverpool for two years. In 2012, she moved to Guangzhou to work as an associate professor/professor at South China University of Technology. She teaches two courses at the university; C++ Programming Language and Electrical Circuits and Electronics.
