田宝单，湖北黄冈人，中共党员，理学博士，教授，硕士生导师，现任数理学院副院长。主要从事微分方程及其应用方向的研究，特别是微分方程理论在生物数学模型建模及其控制与仿真方面的研究工作。先后在《Applied Mathematics and Computation》《Mathematics and Computers in Simulation》《Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences》《Physica A》《International Journal of Biomathematics》《Ecological Complexity》《应用数学与力学》《生物数学学报》等国内外核心期刊上发表学术论文50余篇，先后主持和参与了包括国家自然科学基金、四川省科技厅、四川省教育厅科研基金等各类科研项目13项，2017年，2018年连续入选西南科技大学龙山人才青年学者。先后获西南科技大学教学成果一等奖、二等奖、三等奖各1项，2022年获四川省现场统计学会第一届优秀成果奖二等奖一项。指导学生获得国家级创新训练项目2项，1篇学术论文入选全国创新创业年会展示，指导学生发表学术论文近10篇。
