From February 2016 to August 2017, he was a Postdoctoral Scholar with the Computational Electromagnetics and Antennas Research Lab (CEARL) of Pennsylvania State University (PSU). In September 2017, he joined the Electronics and Information Engineering School of Beihang University, Beijing, and selected into the “Excellent Hundred Scholar” program, where he is currently an Associate Professor.   Dr. Ren has authored and coauthored over 100 papers in refereed journals and conferences. His research interests include multiscale and multiphysics modeling (discontinuous Galerkin method, high order method, hybrid method, parallel computing, etc), inverse scattering (medical imaging and geophysical exploration) , deep learning, electromagnetic compatibility in integrated circuits.   Dr. Ren currently serves as the reviewer for 40 journals and conferences, including various IEEE transactions, IEEE journals, OSA journals, etc. He also served as the session chair, session organizer and TPC member for multiple international conferences.
