She received the Ph.D. degree from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2002, in electrical engineering. She had been awarded a scholarship under the State Scholarship Fund (organized by the China Council Scholarship) to pursue study in the Department of Computer Science, Sam Houston State University, USA from Mar. 10th 2015 to Mar. 23rd 2016. She is currently an associate Professor with the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University, Tianjin, China.
