Before Joined Tianjin University, he did his postdoctoral work at University of California Santa Barbara(2011-2013) and University of Pennsylviania(2014-2016). His research interests are developing numerical methods related but not limited to level set, volume of fluid, immersed boundary method and fluctuating hydrodynamics with application to multiphase flow and fluid-structure interaction problems.
