He received his Degree of Bachelor, Master and Ph.D. from Tianjin University in 2005, 2008 and 2013, respectively, majoring in Power Machinery and Engineering. He worked as a joint Ph.D. student at University of Wisconsin-Madison between Nov. 2010 and Sept. 2012. He has then been working in Engine Research Center at University of Wisconsin-Madison since Jan. 2013, and joined Tianjin University as associate professor in Jan. 2015.
