He received the B.E. degree in borehole geophysics from the Northeast Petroleum University in 1984 and the Ph.D. degree in measurement technique and instrumentation from the Zhejiang University in 1997. Since 2002, he serves as professor in school of electrical engineering and automation, Tianjin University,  China. His research interests include multiphase flow sensoring system and fluid flow, geophysical well logging, nonlinear sicence in complex fluid flow. Currently, He serves  as Editorial Board of International Journal : Flow Measurement and Instrumentation , Applied Geophysics,International Journal of Instrumentation Technology.
